Balloon Event

Our RE/MAX balloon is certainly an eye catcher and it easily recognized.  RE/MAX is one of the leading real estate companies in the world.  Being a RE/MAX agent, I wanted to share the hot-air balloon with the families in Wayne County so I planned an event which would allow the kids and their parents to enjoy our balloons.  We placed our cold air balloon out along with the hot-air balloon basket for viewing.  The balloon pilot would turn on the burners occasionally for the crowd to see just how powerful they are.  The sound would grab one's attention, no matter what they were doing and the kids eyes became as big as saucers!  You could see the excitement in their faces.  Along with the balloon, the Goldsboro Police Department was on site for fingerprinting the kids.  With up-to-date technology, they were fingerprinted and photographed along with a brief description of their height, weight, eyes and hair color, etc.  The kids were weighed in and measured by Julie Rosa, Federal Probations Officer and assisted by Chaz Rosa, with the Raleigh Police Department.  Lisa Jordan, an artist from Greenville, NC provided face painting for the kids.  They were able to choose from several possibilities including a rainbow, a butterfly, a flower, and even a RE/MAX balloon!  Also on site was Joe Bartlett with the Greenville Police Department, assisting with various needs.  Amy Head with Bank of America was on site to answer any mortgage questions and providing gift bags to the kids.  Bank of America provides a closing cost incentive for buyers purchasing an ENERGY STAR QUALIFIED home and that use Bank of America for their mortgage.  Check with Amy to determine if you qualify.  Graphix Unlimited did a great job on the signage which allowed everyone to easily locate the event.  Thanks go out to everyone for their help with this event.  We look forward to our next balloon event.  I will post the date once that has been confirmed.
